The group size for this tour is very small, ensuring the most intimate experience. The trek is 2.5 Km with a rescued young elephant and rescued adult elephant. The morning tour includes a delicious Laos style lunch. Not hungry? – No problem, join the afternoon for elephant trek only. Requires a moderate level of fitness.

Therapeutic Trek
You will trek through the jungle alongside two adult elephants, surrounded by jungle streams and luscious rice fields as you trek (2.5km round trip). Once your trek is completed, a delicious lunch will follow at the MandaLao property, or join for the afternoon for elephant trek only. Requires a moderate level of fitness.

Therapeutic Trek and Tat Sae Waterfall Trip
Spend the morning with two of our rescued adult elephants on our Therapeutic Trek. After lunch travel on the Nam Khan river for a 20 minute scenic boat ride to the Tat Sae Waterfalls. Dip your toes or relax surrounded by the sound of the waterfall. Requires a moderate level of fitness.

The Golden Hour Sunset Experience
Join us for an unforgettable evening on the banks of the Nam Khan River, where the magic of the Golden Hour comes alive.
You will start by preparing a special evening diet for our beloved Golden Girl, the oldest resident elephant who deserves the very best in her twilight years. Cross the river and take a short walk to meet our rescued elephant and feed this special diet. Afterwards, return to the river to enjoy a drink as the sun sets.
After this magical moment, return across the river, where a delightful Lao dinner awaits you.
Join us to create lasting memories while supporting the care of our rescued gentle giants.

Nature Immersion - Elephant Trek and Kayaking
Start the day by joining our “Therapeutic Trek”. After lunch, enjoy scenic views and local Laos life while you kayak on the Nam Khan River. The trip will take around 2.5 – 3 hours, with stops on the way for a snack or a swim! Your adventure will end at our partner, The Namkhan Resort.

Spirit of Laos - Yoga and Elephants
Reconnect with nature and yourself in body, mind, and spirit, with a peaceful morning yoga session and sound therapy, at The Namkhan Resort. This class, located along the banks of the Nam Khan River, is open to all levels. After the session, you will be transported by minivan to MandaLao where you will join with our “Thereputic Trek”.

The Luck of Laos - Elephants and BacI
In Laos and in Buddhist traditions, elephants represent prosperity and luck. Your luck will begin when you join in on the “Communicating With Elephants” trek. After being in the presence of these majestic animals, channel additional luck by participating in a traditional Baci Ceremony. The elders of Xieng Lom village will call the spirits to impart good luck wishes on you!
